    Thanks to all who attended our Apra Skills Workshop yesterday at Purdue University! We had a full day of some great sessions including a keynote speech and advanced track sessions with Elizabeth Crabtree, a lively development officer panel, and other great content about planned giving, SEC filings, and data analytics. We will be sending out the conference materials in the next week, and we will also post this information in our members only section! If you did attend please remember to fill out your evaluation. We'll see you all at our next event, our Annual Meeting on December 4 at Indiana University!

    Don't miss this year's Apra Indiana Skills Workshop which will take place Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. 

    Registration is now open and is only $55 for members and $70 for non-members. Registration closes Wednesday, June 13, so don't delay! The skills workshop provides two tracks of content for everyone from development professionals at small organizations who want to dig deeper into the field, to seasoned researchers from large institutions. 

    We are excited to have Elizabeth Crabtree, founder and president of Crabtree Lane LLC, a nonprofit management and consultancy practice. She has over 20 years of senior management experience in fundraising and has been a nonprofit consultant since 2007. Her most recent engagements have included serving as an interim director of development and providing campaign feasibility and strategic planning advice, as well as research, prospect development and database management services to a diverse number of organizations.
